Our Mission

To build a community of believers committed to sharing God’s love and power through the Gospel by following the examples of the early church. In doing so we endeavor to develop and cultivate a caring network of believers committed to each other in agape love and in constant fellowship for prayer, bible study and building up one another.

What we believe

In Titus 1:9, we are admonished to hold fast the faithful word committed to us through apostolic teachings. The following affirmations are summaries of our doctrinal belief and serve as the bedrock of our faith.

The Holy Scriptures: We believe the Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments to be the inspired Word of God; the complete and final revelation of His will to man.

The Eternal God: We believe God is indivisibly One with no distinction of persons.

Jesus Christ: We believe Jesus Christ is God Himself manifested in human flesh for the purpose of our redemption.

Salvation: We believe in the salvation of sinners by grace, through repentance and faith in the perfect and sufficient work of the cross of Calvary by which we obtain remission of sins.

Water Baptism: We believe that water baptism by immersion and the celebration of the Lord’s Supper are ordinances to be observed by the church.  Failure to comply with these ordinances is an indication of disobedience.

Baptism in the Holy Spirit: We believe in the infilling of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues and manifestation of gifts of the Spirit for the edification and development of the Church.

Heaven: We believe that heaven is the glorious habitation of the living God and the eternal home of born-again believers (John 14:2; Revelation 7:15-17).

Hell: We believe that hell is a place of darkness, deepest sorrow, and unquenchable fire, which was not prepared for man but for the devil and his angels; yet it will become the place of eternal separation from God for all who reject Christ as Savior (Matthew 13: 41, 42; Revelation 10:10, 15).

The Body of Christ:  We believe that Jesus Christ is the head of the Church and every local church as the right, under its Head, to decide and govern its own affairs through its leadership.

Ministry of the Holy Spirit: We believe that the primary ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ, and to convict the world of sin. He indwells the repentant sinner the moment he/she invites Jesus Christ to save them and become the Lord of their lives. He seals the individual at the moment of salvation. His function in the lives of believers is to guide, instruct and empower us to live a godly life of service.

The Fall of Man: We believe that man was created in the image of God but fell into sin through willful disobedience. As a consequence of that sin, the human race is alienated from God and under condemnation without Christ.

Salvation: We believe in the salvation of sinners by grace, through repentance and faith in the perfect and sufficient work of the cross of Calvary by which we obtain remission of sins. That the shed blood of Jesus Christ and His resurrection provides the only grounds for justification and salvation for those who believe. All who profess personal faith in Jesus and accepts Him as God’s redemptive gift for salvation and eternal life are born of the Spirit and become the children of God.

Judgment:  We believe that all shall stand before the judgment seat of Christ: the redeemed to be delivered unto everlasting life, and the unrepentant unto everlasting punishment (Revelation 20:11, 12; 2 Corinthians 5:10).

The Second Coming of Christ: We believe in the personal, pre-millennial and imminent return of our Lord Jesus Christ, and that this “Blessed Hope” has a vital bearing on the personal conduct and service of the believer.

The Resurrection: We believe in the bodily resurrection of the dead; of the believer to everlasting life and joy with the Lord; of the unbeliever to eternal judgment and punish.

Church Relationship: We believe that it is our sacred duty to identify ourselves with a congregation of believers with whom we can worship God, observe the ordinances of Christ, exhort and support one another, labor for the salvation of others, and work together to advance the Lord’s Kingdom (Acts 16:5; Hebrews 10:24).

Tithing and Offerings: We believe that tithing and offerings are ordained of God to sustain His ministry, spread the Gospel, and release personal blessing (Malachi 3:10; 1 Corinthians 16: 1, 2).

Evangelism: We believe that soul winning is the “one big business” of the Church on earth, and that every hindrance to worldwide evangelism should be removed (James 5:20; Mark 16:15).

Moderation: We believe that a Christians’ moderation should be obvious to others and that relationship with Jesus should never lead people into extremes of fanaticism; their lives should model that of Christ in uprightness, balance, humility, and self-sacrifice (Colossians 3:12, 13; Philippians 4:5).
