When God called Abram

 

For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness. Romans 4:3 KJV

 

Abraham was declared righteous long before the law. A righteousness resulting from faith (conviction leading to obedience). The ultimate goal of our salvation is to be restored to a righteous relationship with God. This restored relationship also allows us to regain our place of authority and dominion on planet earth. A right standing with God is every Christians ticket to victorious living. It is the foundation of our defense against all accusations of the enemy.
